Title: Processing Vicarious Trauma, Second-Hand Trauma
Presenter(s): Christina Minasian Hunt, PsyD, MLADC & Julie Camuso, PhD
Brief Description: We hope to provide the information, resources, and tools necessary to empower providers to confidently prescribe PEP to those at risk for HIV infection in our community. This will include more than just the medical management but all the psychosocial, legal, and financial components of holistically caring for patients at risk for HIV infection. It is also important for attendees to realize that there are state resources available to cover the cost of PEP, as well as national hotlines for provider support.
