Preserving a Therapeutic Relationship through De-escalation and Service Recovery

Brief Overview/Description:  

Patient with serious chronic health conditions must maintain a healthy and trusting therapeutic relationship with everyone on their care team. Poor encounters, especially ones that escalate to disruptive behaviors, jeopardize this relationship. This training will help to provide concrete strategies to prevent and deescalate negative interactions with an eye toward preserving and restoring this relationship.
