This webinar will provide a brief overview of stimulant use and stimulant use disorder in PWH. Evidence of health threats from cardiovascular, pulmonary, and neurological comorbidities with stimulant use will be provided. Interventions with efficacy that reduce methamphetamine use including pharmacotherapies, contingency management and other behavioral therapies will be presented with considerations for their use in busy infectious disease settings. Whole person strategies will be discussed that address ways to bridge across silos of care for infectious diseases, addictions, mental health, and social determinants of health.
