Overview:
The Connecticut HIV Planning Consortium is hosting their Quality Improvement (QI) Summit on October 18th from 9:30 am-12:00 pm. This event will feature a talk from keynote speaker, Amit Achhra, MPH, PhD, MD, Assistant Professor of Medicine at Yale University; a Quality Improvement presentation from Michael Virata, MD, FACP, FIDSA; and a round of breakout sessions hosted by various subject matter experts specifically focused on QI in the areas of HIV Testing & PrEP, Housing, Hepatitis C, & Retention in Care, and Oral Health.
Learning Objectives:
Address critical issues that will help us end the syndemic in Connecticut:
• Disparities in HIV testing and HIV prevention
• Unmet needs for people with HIV – highlighting projects that address oral health, housing, and retention in care
• Related epidemics including sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and Hepatitis C Inspire participants to engage in quality improvement (QI) projects that help end the systemic
