Long-acting injectable antiretrovirals are currently available for treatment of HIV, and approval for HIV prevention is anticipated soon; these developments may significantly change the landscape of HIV treatment and prevention. In this case-based webinar, Dr. Kevin Ard discussed injectable antiretrovirals for HIV treatment and prevention. By the end of the webinar, participants will be familiar with the most up-to-date evidence for injectable antiretrovirals and will be able to describe programmatic changes that may be necessary to implement long-acting injectable medications in clinical practice.
