February 7th marks the tenth annual National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NBHAAD); a national HIV testing and treatment community mobilization initiative designed to increase the awareness of HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment among Blacks in the United States. The theme for NBHAAD 2010 is "HIV/AIDS Prevention: A Choice and a Lifestyle."

HIV Testing Update

The New England AIDS Education and Training Center presents "HIV Testing Update," a talk by Deb M. Winters, APRN-BC, AACRN, Clinical Director at the NEAETC Massachusetts Regional Partner. The program will be held from 12:00 - 1:00p.m. at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA. 

Registration will be available 15 minutes prior to the event.

Please note that this is a closed program available only to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

The National Week of Prayer for the Healing of AIDS is the coming together of all people of faith to unite with purpose, compassion and hope. Through the power of God’s love we will educate every American about HIV prevention facts; encourage and support HIV testing; advocate for the availability of compassionate care and treatment for all those living with the disease in every community in America; and love unconditionally all persons living with and affected by HIV/AIDS.
