This training aims to review recent updates regarding hepatitis B virus and hepatitis C virus, including those living with HIV. Preventing the transmission of these viruses, especially in healthcare settings, and post-exposure management are paramount. The training promotes interprofessional collaboration and communication between medical and dental teams. This continuing educational session will promote provider understanding and improve systems to enhance health outcomes, especially for people with HIV and with or at risk for hepatitis C and hepatitis B.
