This workshop will be a practical exploration of motivational interviewing (MI) largely led by those participating in the workshop. Attendees will be asked to apply MI approaches to difficult/repetitive patient scenarios, such as "I know I should take my meds, but I don't like how they make me feel." A handout will be utilized to present MI approaches, as well as to discuss and document MI consistent ways to address the patient scenarios.
