Philip A. Chan, MD, MS, Will provide clinical consultation to nurse practitioner students at the Providence Community Health Centers (PCHC) Randall Square location. This consultation will center around HIV care in Rhode Island, focusing on the epidemiology of HIV and STDs in Rhode Island by region, gender, race/ethnicity, exposure mode, and sexual orientation; appropriate HIV treatment and care guidelines outline for providers; and the different prevention approaches for HIV and STDs, including condoms, testing, PEP/PrEP, vaccines, viral suppression, male circumcision, disclosure, and microbicides. This training is for PCHC Center staff only, it is NOT open to the general public.
