As the effectiveness of antiretroviral therapies has grown, people with HIV are
living longer lives. According to a recent CDC report, people aged 55 and older
accounted for nearly 30 percent of all Americans living with HIV infection. This
Grand Rounds will explore complications associated with aging, long-term HIV
infection, the need for support services and the importance of testing older
adults.
