AUDIENCE
Any providers in Rhode Island who interact with youth and young adults (aged 11-24), including but not limited to: educators, health care providers, social workers, counselors, faith and community leaders, and others.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the conclusion of this event, participants will be able to:

Explain the importance of applying intersectional approaches in youth sexual health education including HIV and STI prevention to support positive health behaviors and outcomes

Employ at least 3 tools that facilitate dialogue and promote intersectional approaches in youth sexual health education

Apply the understanding of intersectionality to their daily practices

Identify national, local, and community resources for sexual health and wellness
