The 2026 Annual Connecticut Hepatitis C Symposium: The Intersection of HCV & HIV is a gathering of healthcare providers and professionals who provide hepatitis C prevention and treatment services to their clients and patients. Please be aware the symposium is In-Person Only and will take place at High Watch Recovery Center, located at 62 Carter Rd, Kent, CT 06757.
This amazing 5-hour event consists of three CME-Accredited presentations, networking opportunities, a free lunch provided by High Watch Recovery Center, and the chance to interact with our subject-matter expert presenters.
The event will take place on Friday, April 10th, 2026, with registration and light refreshments beginning at 10:00 am and the first presentation at 10:30 am. The event is scheduled to conclude around 3:15 PM.
Presentation topics will focus on HCV, as well as its connection with HIV. The topics include the following:
- Hepatitis C Challenges and strategies for overcoming barriers to HCV treatment
- Hepatitis C Panel discussion on HCV linkage to care with syndemic partners
- Presentation and Review of the CT Syndemic Screening Tool
This event is open to the public and will be In-Person Only. There is no virtual attendance option.
