Description:
The session will review the phenomenon of chemsex and its unique association with HIV and behaviors associated with HIV acquisition. Strategies for harm reduction as well as treatment will be reviewed along with available data for medication treatment and interventions. Special attention will be given to utilizing an approach to developing a treatment plan and intervention strategy for patients engaged in chemsex regardless of their HIV status.
