This event has reached its maximum capacity. This registration has been left open only for those who already registered on the Yale CME System.
Provisions of the Connecticut General Statutes require that physicians applying for license renewal in the state of Connecticut must participate in at least 1 hour of accredited CME in each of the following topics:
- Infectious diseases (including but not limited to HIV/AIDS),
- Risk management (including controlled substances and pain management),
- Sexual assault,
- Domestic violence,
- Cultural competence, and
- Behavioral health (including mental health conditions common to veterans and family members of veterans).
As a CME provider for physicians in the state of Connecticut, Yale CME, in partnership with the Connecticut Local Partner of the New England AIDS Education and Training Center, provides opportunities that meet the state-required CME for physicians. Yale CME has developed this full-day course that will not only meet the state mandated course requirements for license renewal, but will also provide valuable information for physicians and other health care providers in the state. It is highly recommended that physician assistants (PAs) and advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) participate in this educational activity to review the latest updates in the above topics, as these topics are required for re-licensure. (For full details on your re-licensure requirements, please contact the CT DPH).
