Dr. Kevin L. Ard, MD, MPH, Medical Director of The National LGBT Health Education Center, a program of The Fenway Institute, and the Director of the Sexual Health Clinic at Massachusetts General Hospital, along with Dr. Doug Krakower, MD, Infectious Disease Specialist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School, deliver a segment educating about on demand or episodic PrEP for people who may be at risk for HIV acquisition on an intermittent basis (not a consistent risk). Dr. Ard and Dr. Krakower discuss the advantages of episodic PrEP for people who have only once-in-a-while exposure.
