Long-term Health Outcomes of In Utero HIV Exposure Among HIV-Negative Young Adults

Objectives:

• Understand health abnormalities that have been associated with in utero HIV exposure in HIV-negative individuals.
• Become familiar with the concept of the developmental origins of health and disease, and how this might be applied to the HIV-exposed uninfected (HEU) population.
• Recognize the limitations of current knowledge of HEU outcomes, and how further studies are needed.
