We are a network of HIV specialists and primary care clinicians who provide collegial support and expertise to one another, enhancing and advancing care for persons with HIV disease in their communities.
Participants are invited to bring cases from their own practices for discussion.
At the completion of this program participants should be able to:
- Review principles of screening for HIV infection in refugees, asylum seekers and immigrants
- Increase awareness of potential issues that may impact care of HIV+ refugees, asylum seekers and immigrants
- Learn strategies for successful engagement in medical care and treatment of these HIV+ populations
